Install Gibeon Player on Google TV Streamer
Four steps, about five minutes from unboxing to pairing.
- Plug the Streamer into your TV via HDMI and into power.
- Walk through the Google TV first-run setup (Wi-Fi, Google account).
- Open the Play Store, search "Gibeon Player", and install.
- Open the app — the activation code appears on screen. Enter it on app.gibeon.io to pair the screen.

What to configure
Switch these five options on before running the screen unattended.
Enable HDMI-CEC
On both the streamer and the TV. The TV then powers on and off with the streamer.
Auto-update apps
In the Play Store settings. Gibeon Player stays up to date without intervention.
Turn off the screensaver
Settings → System → Screensaver → "Never". Prevents the screen from switching to the Google logo after a few minutes.
Display over other apps for Gibeon Player
Settings → Apps → Special access → "Display over other apps" → Gibeon Player → On. Keeps the signage overlay on top.
Disable inactivity sleep
Settings → System → Power → "Never". A signage screen should not go to standby.
